Thanks for your patience, we are going through a VERY POSITIVE reset period in which MLC will be run by the Montrose Lacrosse Foundation Board so Coach Chelsey and I will be able focus on our HS coaching duties. We have the utmost faith in Coaches Casey, Wayne, Chris V, Derek, Ronnie and Tanner and they have pledged to keep MLC as accessible as it's been and I know they will continue to elevate the MLC and provide the community-centered, positive and hard-working culture we have all collectively built.
ALL of our Montrose Lacrosse Club coaches and board leadership work for free, all-year to provide the most accessible lacrosse opportunities that I have ever known to exist.
Both Coach Chelsey and I will remain adjacent to MLC and will continue to assist with strategy + player/team development.
Let's continue to keep building this community, this program together. The vision continues: when a Montrose Lacrosse student-athlete picks up a stick for the first time and shows up to practice - they learn first: No one was born knowing how to play. All had to learn and be taught. Therefore, we BUILD TEAMMATES with support. They learn second: This is challenging! The cost of admission frequently in life, is effort. They learn third: You have to make it fun - we look to encourage creativity right off the bat!
This is going to be an awesome year.
